Press Release: Annual Canvas - Local residents to receive important voter registration information.

Is there a defibrillator in your area? HPCP in conjunction with Pitlochry High School and the Scottish Ambulance Service have created the Highland Perthshire Defibrillator App which locates all the defibrillators in Highland Perthshire. The app is now live! and ready to download. Please click here to find out more.

This is an important and exciting project, and we would like to know about each and every defibrillator that exists in Highland Perthshire and ones in the pipeline. If you can assist, please contact Michella Samy on 07977 222271 or email: michella@freedom-pa.com, or download the questionnaire for more information. With your help, we will be one step closer to having life saving information at our fingertips.

Planning application for Barite Mine to deliver vital resource for North Sea oil and gas industry lodged

Royal Bank of Scotland is closing 259 branches resulting in 680 job losses after the state-backed lender said more people are choosing to bank online or on mobile.

197 NatWest outlets and 62 RBS branches and will be closed by mid 2018 as part of the move and 1,000 roles will be affected, two of which are Aberfeldy and Pitlochry, the nearest branch thereafter being 25 miles away.

These plans will have a damaging impact on people across the country – particularly older and vulnerable customers who depend on staff and services in their local branches. Accessing services online is not an option for many customers in the more rural areas. Travelling to the "nearest" branch will be an impossibility for some and a major inconvenience for others.

Please print and sign this petition and send it to your local MSP.
